Yleensa yritan ajoittaa omat treenailut aikaiselle aamulle, ennen tyopaivaa, aina kun se vain on mahdollista. Silloin ruokailuja ei tarvitse sen kummemmin miettia. Aamulenkin juoksen tyhjalla vatsalla (niin aikaisin ei viela tee mieli syoda), ja ennen muita treeneja syon ihan normaalin aamupalan. Illan hot jooga-tunnit kuitenkin vaativat hieman suunnittelua, ettei vahingossa lahde liian taydella vatsalla kuumaan saliin tai painvastoin liian pitkalla ruokavalilla.
Itse olen huomannut, etta joogapaivina on kivempi syoda kasvispainoitteisesti ja muutenkin vahan kevyemmin, riippuen tietenkin paivan muusta aktiivisuudesta. Mulla on tama paiva mennyt taysin lapparin aaressa tenttiin keskittyen, eli muuta liikuntaa ei juuri ole tullut.
Usually I try to do my own exercises early in the morning, before my work, when ever its possible. Then I don't need to think about how to eat. My morning run, I do with empty stomach (can't really eat that early), and before other exercises I just have my regular breakfast. When I have a hot yoga class in the evening, I have to think about a bit what to eat and when... You just can't do yoga in a heated room with full stomach!
I have noticed, that when I have a yoga class in the evening, I prefer to eat just plant based foods and a bit lighter than usually, depending of my daily activity of course... Today I've spent my day more or less in front of the computer just studying... so my activity has been quite low...
Tassa mun ruokailuja talta paivalta ennen ilta seitseman hot joogatuntia...
Aamupala puoli seitseman maissa oli sama kuin viikonlopulla eli banaani/chiapuddingia vadelmilla ja gluteeniton porkkanakrakkeri kurkulla ja vuohenjuustolla. Valipalana kymmenen jalkeen soin appelsiinin.
Here's my "food diary" from today before a 7pm hot yoga class...
My breakfast around 6.30am was banana/chia pudding with raspberries, and gluten free carrot crackers with goat cheese and cucumber. Mid morning snack was an orange.
Lounaaksi soin kvinoaa seka kasvisten (parsaa, kesakurpitsaa, selleria ja porkkanaa) etta fetan kanssa.
As a lunch I had some quinoa with veggies (broccoli, zucchini, celery and carrots) and some feta cheese.
Valipalana vahan ennen neljaa viela maustamatonta soijajugurttia mustikoilla, 1/2 banaani ja pari ruokalusikallista "green granolaa" ja pala raaka suklaata... Vetta join myos paljon pitkin paivaa, mika on tosi tarkeaa ennen hot jooga, silla sen verran paljon tulee hikoiltua. Nain valtytaan myos ikavalta paansarylta. Nailla evailla jaksoi hyvin joogan alkuun. Hot joogaan ei todellakaan kannata menna taysinaisella vatsalla...
As a snack around 4pm, I had some plain soy yoghurt with blueberries, 1/2 banana and 2 tbsp of "green granola, and a slice of home made raw chocolate... I also drank lots of water which is really important before a hot yoga class! I am sweating so much and I don't to have a headache...
Joogan jalkeen juon aina kookosvetta ja syon viela jotain... tanaan ehka paivallista kvinoaa tai teen puuron... fiiliksen mukaan :)
After the yoga class I always have some coconut water and I will eat something as well... tonight maybe some quinoa from lunch or I will make some porridge... let's see how I feel!
